Lavrov to unveil new foreign policy concept at president's meeting with Russian Security Council members - Peskov

MOSCOW. March 31 (Interfax) - Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will deliver a report detailing a new concept of Russia's foreign policy at President Vladimir Putin's meeting with the permanent members of the Russian Security Council on Friday.

"There will be quite an important meeting with the Security Council permanent members today, because its agenda includes Foreign Minister Lavrov's report on the Russian Federation's new foreign policy concept. This meeting is scheduled to start after 2:00 p.m.," presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov told reporters.

The president's opening remarks will be made public, he said.

Regarding the president's subsequent schedule, Peskov said Putin is due to attend closed-door working meetings.
