Ukrainian PM Shmygal discusses recovery priorities with ambassadors of Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, Sweden

MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal has discussed priorities of Ukraine's reconstruction with the ambassadors of Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, and Sweden.

"Coordinating work on Ukraine's reconstruction with our foreign partners. I had a substantive meeting with the ambassadors of Denmark, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway, Finland, and Sweden," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying on his social account on Wednesday.

The meeting participants discussed recovery priorities and reconstruction costs, which the World Bank has estimated at $411 billion, he said.

"We have successful cases of cooperation between our partners and local administrations. I have urged the countries to be actively engaged in recovery projects at the local level. We also discussed Ukraine's progress in pursuing reforms on its path toward joining the EU. Continuing work on components of a post-crisis economy model," Shmygal said.
