Russian Railways to keep freight loading flat in Q1

MOSCOW. March 29 (Interfax) - Russian Railways or RZD expects to keep freight loading in Q1 2023 level with the same period of last year, company chief Oleg Belozerov said at the Federation Council.

"The momentum is being maintained in the first quarter of this year. In freight traffic, total loading is being carried out at the 2022 level," he said.

RZD freight loading was 307.9 million tonnes in Q1 2022.

The company expects loading to fall 2.5% in 2023 as a whole.
