Econ ministry calls for increasing sales of Russian energy resources at ports of delivery

MOSCOW. March 28 (Interfax) - Russia needs to increase sales of energy resources at ports of delivery rather than ports of shipment, Economic Development Minister Maxim Reshetnikov said.

"It is no less important to not just physically develop infrastructure, but also transition to the commodity delivery conditions we are accustomed to, on the principles of FOB, CIF or DAP. This, of course, will require fundamentally different cooperation with the transport sector," Reshetnikov said at an Energy Ministry meeting.

"We need to further increase purchases, foremost of marine shipping vessels, we need to increase production of domestic tankers [...] and solve the issues of mutual recognition of insurance, reinsurance, settlements in national currencies," Reshetnikov said.
