Another 3 vessels to deliver 150,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products to Asian countries - Ministry for Restoration of Ukraine

MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - Another three vessels left the ports of Greater Odessa on Monday as part of the Black Sea Grain Initiative to deliver 150,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products to Asian countries, Ukrainian media reported citing the Ministry for the Restoration of Ukraine.

In particular, the ASL Ileana bulker carrying 54.6 thousand tonnes of wheat is heading to Bangladesh, according to media reports.

Bangladesh remains a key consumer of Ukrainian wheat: the country has received more than 710,000 tonnes since the beginning of the Grain Initiative, the ministry said.

On average, six inspections are held daily both at the entrance to and exit of, the seaports. Ninety-four vessels are waiting in line for a Joint Coordination Center inspection in the Bosporus, it said.

Totally, 848 vessels with 25.9 million tonnes of food exports to countries in Asia, Europe and Africa have departed from the ports of Greater Odessa since August 1, 2022, the Ukrainian ministry said.
