Russian businessman Udodov exits logistics operator at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport

MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - Russian businessman Alexander Udodov has divested his stake in VG Cargo GmbH, a company that handles cargo at Frankfurt-Hahn Airport, data from Germany's state registry of companies showed.

VG Cargo CEO Viktor Gornak confirmed this information.

Frankfurt-Hahn Airport is located between Frankfurt am Main and Luxembourg. Discount airline Ryanair began using the airport as one of its European hubs in 2001.

Udodov became a shareholder of VG Cargo in 2004, when the company was essentially a startup, Gornak said in an interview with Kommersant. The new investors waged on developing warehouse facilities, and as of the end of 2020 the company had 35,000 square meters of warehouse space.
