Zelensky not offered to meet, but ready for talk with Chinese president - media

MOSCOW. March 27 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has told the Japanese newspaper Yomiuri Shimbun that he had not received a negotiation offer from China.

"I did not receive an offer of mediation from China. I did not receive an offer to meet up," Zelensky was quoted by the Ukrainian media as saying on Saturday.

At the same time, he added that he had previously communicated, via diplomatic channels, his wish to talk with the Chinese leader.
