Ukrainian PM and World Bank vice president discuss extending Peace in Ukraine initiative

MOSCOW. March 23 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal and World Bank Vice President Anna Bjerde have discussed the implementation of joint projects providing support for Ukraine.

"In particular, we outlined prospects for extending the Peace in Ukraine initiative, which has become the World Bank's largest investment project and has played a decisive role in Ukraine's financial macro-economic stability," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Shmygal as saying in a social media post.

"We are grateful for its readiness to come to the rescue," he said.
