Russia bans rapeseed exports until Aug 31

MOSCOW. March 21 (Interfax) - Russia has banned rapeseed exports until August 31, 2023, according to a government resolution signed on March 18 and posted on the official website for legal information.

The ban does not apply to rapeseed exports to countries in the Eurasian Economic Union, Abkhazia and South Ossetia, shipments under international intergovernmental agreements and humanitarian aid to other countries, and shipments for other purposes.

As before, exports are allowed through the Zabaikalsk checkpoint, but only until March 31.

The ban goes into effect on the date of the resolution's official publication.
