Russian airlines to undergo scheduled maintenance in Turkish airports in summer - Rosaviatsiya

MOSCOW. March 17 (Interfax) - Russian and Turkish aviation authorities, during negotiations in Ankara on Friday, stated that flights by Russian airlines in the summer season of this year will be serviced at Turkish airports in accordance with previously concluded agreements, a representative of the Federal Air Transport Agency told reporters.

The negotiations were held between the Deputy Head of the Federal Air Transport Agency, Vladimir Poteshkin and the head of the Turkish civil aviation authority, Kemal Yuksek.

"During the consultations, it was noted that the issue of operating flights by Russian and Turkish airlines is under the constant control of the aviation authorities of the two countries. Flights of Russian airlines scheduled for the IATA Summer 2023 season will be provided with ground handling at the airports of the Republic of Turkey in accordance with earlier concluded commercial agreements," the representative of the Russian agency said.
