Faulty Soyuz MS-22 to be tested at ISS before landing in late March
MOSCOW. March 15 (Interfax) - Russian specialists and the International Space Station (ISS) crew are planning to run thermal tests on the faulty Soyuz MS-22 spaceship on Wednesday, Roscosmos said.
"Specialists from the Korolyov Energia Rocket and Space Corporation, assisted by cosmonauts from the Roscosmos state corporation, will run thermal tests on systems of the Soyuz MS-22 spaceship at the International Space Station today," the corporate press service said.
According to the press service, cosmonauts Sergei Prokopyev, Dmitry Petelin and Andrei Fedyayev will run a series of tests on the spaceship's equipment to check its work modes before an unmanned landing due in late March.
"Test results will be transmitted to Earth for evaluation by Energia specialists," Roscosmos said.
