Ingosstrakh Investments obtains license from China's regulator to conduct operations with securities, futures

MOSCOW. March 14 (Interfax) - JSC Ingosstrakh Investments has obtained a license from the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) in order to conduct operations with securities and futures, the investment company said in a press release.

Ingosstrakh Investments earlier in February acquired the status of Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor (QFII), thereby allowing the investment company to create widely diversified exchange-traded funds for various categories of retail investors.

"We are developing products that allow investing in economies alternative to Russia's economy, and to receive foreign currency returns, though, at the same time, minimizing infrastructure risks," Ingosstrakh Investments General Director Vladimir Krekoten was as quoted saying in the company's press release.
