Luch-5X relay satellite inserted into orbit - Roscosmos
MOSCOW. March 13 (Interfax) - The Luch-5X relay satellite launched by a Proton-M rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome has been inserted into the target orbit, Russia's Roscosmos said.
"The Luch-5X satellite was delivered to the target orbit. The launch vehicle operated nominally," Roscosmos said on Telegram.
The Proton-M LV blasted off from Baikonur Area 200 at 2:13 a.m. on Monday to bring the Briz-M upper stage with the Luch-5X satellite to the orbit.
Currently, the Luch relay network consists of three vehicles in orbit and provides data to spacecraft, including the Russian segment of the International Space Station.
