Macron appoints special envoy for Ukraine's relief and reconstruction

MOSCOW. March 10 (Interfax) - French President Emmanuel Macron has appointed Pierre Heilbronn, former vice president for policy and partnerships at the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development, his special envoy for Ukraine's relief and reconstruction.

"It is a great honor to me to gain the trust of Emmanuel Macron who appointed me special envoy for Ukraine's relief and reconstruction. In light of this great challenge, I will seek to coordinate and intensify France's efforts to restore Ukraine," Ukrainian media outlets quoted the politician as saying on his social networks.
