Russian-S. Arabian energy cooperation immune to market fluctuations - Lavrov

MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - Interaction between Russia and Saudi Arabia in energy and all other sectors is immune to market fluctuations, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

"As concerns cooperation with Saudi Arabia, whether in the energy sector or in any other, it is not susceptible to market fluctuations and some irrelevant considerations," Lavrov said at a press conference following talks with his Saudi counterpart in Moscow on Thursday.

During the talks, Russia and Saudi Arabia reaffirmed their commitment to the existing agreements, primarily those within the OPEC+ framework, "which remain fully in effect until the end of this year, after which the OPEC+ group members will review the situation and make new decisions," Lavrov said.
