Emergency outages in Kiev, as well as Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk region, cancelled, stabilizing outage schedules in effect in Odessa region - DTEK

MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - Emergency power outages that were preemptively applied in the city of Kiev and the Kiev region on Thursday morning have been cancelled now, Ukrainian media have reported referring to the DTEK power supply company's statement.

"Kiev: emergency power outages have been cancelled. However, due to an overload on one of the transmission lines, emergency outages are still in effect in parts of the Goloseyevsky, Solomyansky, and Svyatoshyn districts," it said.

Emergency outages have also been cancelled in the Kiev and Dnepropetrovsk regions, it said.

Considering that some power supply infrastructure elements have been damaged in the Odessa region, stabilizing outage schedules will be applied there for the time being, it said.

As reported earlier, a number of local grid operators, particularly DTEK's branches in the Odessa, Kiev, and Dnepropetrovsk regions, reported on Thursday morning they had to activate emergency and hourly outage schedules.
