EU ambassadors approve extra 2 bln euros to EPF, which helps provide aid to Ukraine
MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - European Union ambassadors have approved an additional 2 billion euros to the European Peace Facility (EPF).
"This decision is a clear signal of the EU's unwavering commitment to the military support of Ukraine and other partners," Ukrainian media outlets said, citing a statement circulated by the Swedish EU presidency on social media.
The European Peace Facility is intended to facilitate its member countries' weapons supplies to Ukraine.
