Ukrainian govt proposes to denounce yet another agreement with Russia

MOSCOW. March 9 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has proposed that Verkhovna Rada terminate an intergovernmental agreement with Russia regarding joint border checks on people, vehicles and goods.

The decision was made by the government on Tuesday, Ukrainian media reported, citing the government's representative to Rada, Taras Melnichuk.

In particular, the bill proposes rescinding the October 18, 2011 agreement on joint border control of persons, vehicles and goods due to a radical change of circumstances.
