Yandex Eats starts operating in Uzbekistan

MOSCOW. March 7 (Interfax) - Yandex Eats, the food and restaurant order delivery division of Russian technology group Yandex , has launched operations in Uzbekistan.

Users can currently access orders from 200 establishments in Tashkent. Going forward the service plans to increase the number of partners and expand its assortment.

The company has not yet said whether it plans to expand its service to other cities in the Central Asian country.

The Yandex Eats app has been localized and is available in Uzbek, English and Russian.

Yandex's foodtech business also operates in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia.
