Ukrainian PM and leaders of Germany's SDP discuss further support for Kiev

MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal, co-leader of Germany's Social Democratic Party (SDP) Lars Klingbeil and head of the SDP faction in the German parliament Rolf Muetzenich have discussed Germany's further support for Kiev.

"Germany is Europe's leading country in terms of the volume of assistance provided to Ukraine. Thank you for your solidarity," Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying in a statement circulated by the government's press service.

Klingbeil and Muetzenich, for their part, offered assurances that Germany's support for Ukraine would continue in all areas.
