Russia registers 11,163 new cases of Covid-19, 38 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ
MOSCOW. March 6 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 11,163 new cases of Covid-19 and 38 related deaths over the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Monday.
Russia "has recorded 11,163 new cases of Covid-19 and 615 patients have been hospitalized over the day, down 26.8% from the day before," the headquarters said.
According to the headquarters, the number of hospitalizations increased in 14 Russian constituent territories, declined in 54, and remained unchanged in 17.
The daily morbidity has decreased by 2,396 cases from 13,559 recorded on Sunday.
Thirty-eight patients died from Covid-19 over the past day, versus 43 the day before.
"Another 9,166 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, down 2.6% from March 5," the headquarters said.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 22,353,291 cases of Covid-19, including 396,336 deaths and 21,686,422 recoveries.
