Ukrainian, Latvian presidents sign joint declaration in Lvov
MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - The presidents of Ukraine and Latvia signed a joint declaration in Lvov on Friday.
"We signed a joint declaration with Egils Levits, ratifying Latvia's support for full-fledged European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine," Ukrainian media reported citing Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky's social media post.
"It's only with Ukraine in its composition that the European project will become truly complete. It's only with Ukraine in its composition that NATO will become a truly strong defender of the European nations and all our common values. I am grateful to Mr. President and the entire Latvian people for unwavering support for our people, the unwavering support for Ukraine on its path of integration with the European Union and NATO," Zelensky said.
