Ukraine expects specifics from NATO's Vilnius summit - PM Shmygal

MOSCOW. March 3 (Interfax) - Ukraine has high expectations from a NATO summit due in Lithuania's Vilnius on July 11-12, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denis Shmygal said.

"We are actively preparing for the Vilnius summit. We are expecting and doing everything for important announcements to be at the summit. The open doors is already too little for us, Ukraine has been hearing this phrase for many years now," the Ukrainian media quoted Shmygal as saying at an annual press conference on government results in Kiev on Friday.

Ukraine expects partners to be specific, he said.

The government continued working to prepare the legislation necessary for Ukraine's integration with the NATO standards, he said.
