Kazakhstan to supply another 20,000 tonnes of oil to Germany in March

MOSCOW. March 1 (Interfax) - JSC KazTransOil plans to transit 20,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil to Germany in March, Shyngys Ilyasov, director of the public relations and internal communications department at KazTransOil, told Interfax.

"According to the oil transit schedule, there are plans in March to transport 20,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil through the trunk pipeline system of PJSC Transneft in the direction of the Adamowo Zastawa oil delivery point for further delivery to Germany," Ilyasov said.

He said the company was technically capable of transporting 300,000 tonnes to Germany in Q1 2023.

"But actual volumes will depend on what oil companies ask for," he said.

KazTransOil arranged the shipment of a first 20,000 tonnes of Kazakh oil to Germany in February. It wants to transport 1.2 million tonnes of oil to Germany using the Transneft system in 2023.
