Naftogaz replaces head of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine
MOSCOW. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Alexei Skryl, formerly head of Gas of Ukraine, has replaced Denis Mirgorodsky as head of the management board of Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine, a Naftogaz Ukraine company, Ukrainian media reported, quoting a Gas Distribution Networks statement.
"The decision to appoint the new head enters force on February 28 with a duration of one year," the company said.
Mirgorodsky is leaving the post "by his own accord, for personal reasons," he said in a post on social networks.
As reported, in May 2022, at the request of the State Bureau of Investigation, the court transferred arrested private corporate rights to 26 regional and urban gas distribution system operators to the Asset Recovery and Management Agency.
On September 2, 2022, Naftogaz registered Gas Distribution Networks of Ukraine LLC, whose main activity is the distribution of gas through local pipelines. In January 2023, Naftogaz began to integrate Dneprogaz and Kharkovgaz into its structure, specifically by changing their management.
