Three vessels to deliver Ukrainian corn to Japan, Tunisia and Netherlands

NEW YORK, UN. Feb 28 (Interfax) - Three bulkers carrying more than 144,000 tonnes of corn departed the Ukrainian ports on Monday, the Joint Coordination Center (JCC) said.

The Seaguardian is carrying 64,877 tonnes of corn to the Netherlands, the Glorious Sea is heading to Tunisia with 23,500 tonnes of corn on board, and the Askio is en route to Japan with 56,000 tonnes of corn on board, the JCC said.

"The total tonnage of grain and other foodstuffs exported from the three Ukrainian ports: 22,471,997 metric tonnes. Total number of voyages enabled: 1,531," the center said.

According to the JCC, "102 applications for participation in the Initiative have been submitted."
