American actor Seagal awarded Russian Order of Friendship

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - American actor Steven Seagal has been awarded the Order of Friendship, under a decree signed by President Vladimir Putin and published on the official website of legal information.

The award was conferred for Seagal's great contribution to promoting international cultural-humanitarian cooperation in his capacity as Russia's Foreign Ministry Representative for humanitarian relations with the United States and Japan, the document said.
