CPC transshipping oil via offshore terminal and accepting crude from freight forwarders as scheduled

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Weather conditions allow the Caspian Pipeline Consortium (CPC) to transship oil at the offshore terminal near Novorossiysk as scheduled, the CPC said in a statement.

"At present, the weather conditions in the operational area of CPC offshore terminal near Novorossiysk allow for transshipment of oil as scheduled, with acceptance of oil from shippers at Tengiz OPS, Atyrau OPS and Komsomolskaya OPS also proceeding normally without restrictions," the statement indicates.

On February 24-26, weather conditions didn't allow for the mooring of new tankers for oil loading: "CPC specialists from February 24 to 25 completed loading operations on two tankers and from February 25 (11:24 Moscow time) to February 26 (22:12 Moscow time) oil transshipment was stopped. At the same time, oil acceptance from shippers proceeded in reduced mode."
