Russia registers 9,580 new cases of Covid-19, 30 deaths in past 24 hours - HQ

MOSCOW. Feb 27 (Interfax) - Russia has registered 9,580 new cases of Covid-19 and 30 related deaths over the past 24 hours, the coronavirus response headquarters said in a statement on Monday.

Russia "has recorded 9,580 new cases of Covid-19 and 786 patients have been hospitalized over the day, down 10.7% from the day before," the headquarters said.

According to the headquarters, the number of hospitalizations increased in 28 Russian constituent territories, declined in 45, and remained unchanged in 12.

The daily morbidity has decreased by six cases from 9,574 recorded on Sunday.

Thirty patients died from Covid-19 over the past day, versus 31 the day before.

"Another 9,250 patients have recovered in the past 24 hours, down 5.4% from February 26," the headquarters said.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, Russia has seen a total of 22,262,717 cases of Covid-19, including 396,065 deaths and 21,600, 487 recoveries.
