Japan to provide $5.5 bln in aid for Ukraine, to host G7+Zelensky online meeting
TOKYO. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Japan will hold an online G7 meeting on February 24, which will be joined by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, and Tokyo will also provide $5.5 billion in aid for Ukraine, the Associated Press said referring to Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida.
Speaking at a global forum in Tokyo, Kishida said he would host his first G7 summit on February 24.
He also announced aid that Japan will provide to Ukraine to "help rebuild their lives and infrastructure."
