Ukraine-based Centravis ramps up output to full capacity; to open new site soon for manufacturing pipes

MOSCOW. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Ukraine-based Centravis holding has ramped up core manufacturing to full capacity in Nikopol, and is preparing to open a branch for producing pipes in Uzhgorod, Ukrainian Media reported, citing a statement from Artyom Atanasov, Centravis's sales director, as published on the holding's website.

"Centravis's production is currently operating at full capacity. This is very essential, so we are utilizing the opportunity to the fullest. All equipment is functioning, and hot and cold shops are operating. We fulfilled the production plan for January, and have an optimistic outlook for the current month," Atanasov said.

According to Atanasov, Centravis will officially open a new production facility in Uzhgorod at the end of February.

"We are setting interest in our products on the part of customers, thus expanding output in these conditions is an important and necessary step," he said.

As reported, the latest production in the Transcarpathia region will specialize in manufacturing instrument pipes for cars.

Centravis is a major manufacturer of seamless stainless steel pipes, and it fulfilled a number of orders in 2022 for international companies, including Benteler Automotive, Linster Edelstahlhandel, Rohr Mertel, Buhlmann Group, Webco, and MRC. Centravis has over 1,400 employees at the enterprise.

The Centravis holding was established at CJSC Nikopol Stainless Pipe Plant of the Yuvis Production and Commercial Enterprise LLC service and trading companies. Members of the Atanasov family are its shareholders.
