KazTransOil discusses cooperation with Chinese partners in pipeline projects

ASTANA. Feb 20 (Interfax) - Kazakhstan's KazTransOil has been discussing cooperation with Chinese partners in pipeline projects.

KazTransOil General Director Talgat Kurmanbayev and Meng Xiangdong, a representative of the Chinese partners CNPC Exploration and Development Company and China National Oil and Gas Exploration and Development Corporation, discussed current issues and future prospects for mutually beneficial cooperation at a meeting, the KazTransOil press office said.

They discussed the operational issues of JV MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company LLP and Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP and confirmed their commitment to meeting the previously reached agreements.

MunaiTas North-West Pipeline Company LLP is a joint venture between KazTransOil and CNPC Exploration and Development Company Ltd.

Kazakhstan-China Pipeline LLP is a joint venture between KazTransOil and CNODC.
