Russia gets license to export fish, Artemia cysts to Peru

MOSCOW. Feb 15 (Interfax) - Russia has received a license to export fish products and Artemia cysts to Peru, the Russian Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) said with reference to a decision by the Peruvian National Fisheries Health Service (Sanipes)

The license applies to exports to Peru of products from 29 Russian fish processing plants or vessels and one facility producing Artemia cysts.

Artemia salina belongs to aquatic crustaceans and is in great demand on the Russian and foreign markets. In particular, it is used as food in growing sturgeon and prawns, as well as in the poultry farming industry.
