Zarubezhgeologiya expands portfolio in Africa

MOSCOW. Feb 14 (Interfax) - Zarubezhgeologiya, the international division of Russian state exploration company Rosgeo, is working out the details of cooperation on projects in Mozambique, Zimbabwe, Algeria and Morocco, Russia's Natural Resources Ministry told Interfax.

The company is already working in a number of African countries, doing exploration in Benin and Djibouti and mapping in Angola, Sudan and the Central African Republic.

"Going forward, the results of this work can be used to assess the potential for joint projects to mine mineral resources with the involvement of Russian players," the ministry said.
