Ukrainian travel operator enters markets of Baltic states, Kazakhstan, Poland, Romania

MOSCOW. Feb 13 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian travel operator Join UP! entered the markets of Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Kazakhstan, Poland, and Romania in 2022, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the company's social media post.

"Entering new markets has enabled us to retain our team in Ukraine. We also believe that our work on foreign markets will help build confidence in Ukrainian travel brands and we will be able to significantly increase inbound tourism flows, which would have a positive effect on the country's economy," the statement quotes Join UP! Regional Director Anton Savchenko as saying.

The average bill of a Ukrainian traveler in 2022 increased by 23% compared to 2021 because of more complicated logistics and more expensive services in resort countries, it said.

The company also provides transfers to Moldova's Chisinau and Poland's Rzeszow, from where travelers can fly to popular destinations, it said.

"It is precisely the Moldovan capital that is currently the most popular point of departure for tourists travelling with Join UP!. Nearly 51,000 travelers have set off from there since we launched this travelling option. On the other hand, Rzeszow's popularity is also growing," Join UP! said.
