Ukraine experiencing acute shortage of electricity - Ukrenergo

MOSCOW. Feb 10 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian unified power system is operating amid an acute shortage of electricity after sustaining severe damage on Friday, with the Kharkov region experiencing the most difficult power supply problems.

"The most difficult situation now is in the Kharkov region. Emergency outages are continuing there. Transmission restrictions have been applied in the Khmelnitsky region and are also in place in the Odessa and Kiev regions. The shortage in the energy system is substantial," Ukrainian media have reported with reference to Ukrenergo's post on its social account.
