London ready to host Ukraine recovery conference

MOSCOW. Feb 9 (Interfax) - London and Kiev intend to hold a Ukraine recovery conference in June of this year, according to a joint UK-Ukraine declaration published on Wednesday.

"We will co-host the Ukraine Recovery Conference in London on 21-22 June. The UK will seek to facilitate access by Ukraine to UK private finance, insurance, tech and other expertise," said the document adopted after UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak's talks with Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky, according to Ukrainian media.

Over the past 12 months, "the UK's military, humanitarian and economic support to Ukraine has reached nearly 4 billion pounds," the document said.
