Zelensky thanks Biden for his words of support for Ukraine during speech in Congress

MOSCOW. Feb 8 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has thanked U.S. President Joe Biden for his words of support for Ukraine during his speech in the Congress and has thanked the American people for solidarity.

"Thank you, the U.S. president, for the powerful words of support for Ukraine while addressing the nation. We are grateful for U.S. leadership in helping Ukraine, for solidarity of the entire American people," Ukrainian media outlets quoted Zelensky as saying in a social media post on Wednesday morning.

As reported, in his annual State of the Union address, Biden promised to support Ukraine as long as it takes.
