Ukraine has enough resources to get through heating season - Energy Ministry

MOSCOW. Feb 2 (Interfax) - Ukraine has sufficient energy resources as of February 1 to get through the heating season, Ukrainian media said, citing the website of the Energy Ministry.

"As of today, there are more than 11 billion cubic meters of gas at Ukraine's gas storage facilities, and around 1.2 million tonnes of coal at warehouses. These amounts are sufficient to get through and conclude this heating season, which is very challenging to our country," Ukrainian Energy Minister German Galushchenko said.
