Russian Energy Minister: No problems so far pumping oil via Druzhba pipeline after shelling

MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - There are no problems so far with pumping oil via the Druzhba pipeline, Russian Energy Minister Nikolai Shulginov told reporters.

"[Transneft ] has not said anything yet, meaning that there are no problems [with pumping] thus far, though there is probably some damage. However, it has not affected the operation of the pipeline," Shulginov said.

Earlier, local media reported shelling by the Ukrainian armed forces on the territory of the Bryansk region, including Druzhba oil pipeline infrastructure. Transneft was not immediately available for comment.
