Ukrainian govt denounces Ukrainian-Russian air traffic agreement

MOSCOW. Feb 1 (Interfax) - The Ukrainian government has terminated the Ukrainian-Russian intergovernmental agreement on air traffic and cooperation in air transport.

The government made the decision on Tuesday, the Ukrainian media said with the reference to a statement made by Government Representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk on a social network.

For instance, the agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on air traffic and cooperation in air transport, signed on January 12, 1994, has been terminated.

The agreement between the governments of Ukraine and Russia on the principles of cooperation in production and delivery of aircraft, signed on February 8, 1993, has been terminated, as well.
