Russia to perform about 20 launches of Soyuz spacecraft in 2023 - Progress Space Center head

SAMARA. Jan 30 (Interfax) - About 20 launches of Soyuz spacecraft may take place in 2023, Progress Rocket Space Center General Director Dmitry Baranov told reporters.

"The plans for this year are about the same, about 20 launches. We have written long lists. There are a few more, but it's the standard approach," Baranov told reporters on Monday.

All possible and impossible payloads are planned, he said.

"Somewhere around 20, and give or take two launches, we will remain within that range," he said.
