Putin-Macron dialogue to be continued if necessary - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 30 (Interfax) - A dialogue between Russian President Vladimir Putin and French President Emmanuel Macron will be continued if necessary, while there is nothing to praise in the context of Russian-French relations at the moment, and Russia is not to blame for this, Russian presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov said.

"President Putin has had a separate dialogue with President Macron, and it will be continued if necessary. Unfortunately, there has been nothing we could boast of in the context of Russian-French relations, as well as in the context of relations between Russia and EU countries, which we are not to blame for," Peskov told journalists.

Anyway, if need be, this dialogue could potentially be continued, he said.
