Netherlands donates about 300 tonnes of electric equipment to Ukraine
MOSCOW. Jan 27 (Interfax) - Ukraine has received 36 shipments of humanitarian aid containing electric equipment weighing in total 286.7 tonnes from the Netherlands since December 2022, including 12 shipments weighing 103.6 tonnes over the past two weeks, Ukrainian media reported with reference to the Energy Ministry website on Friday.
"The equipment provided will help restore power supply [...] Thanks to the Netherlands for this support," Energy Minister German Galushchenko said.
The equipment provided by the Netherlands includes transformers, circuit breakers, grounding conductors, disconnecting switches, surge protectors, electric cables and earthing devices, and overhead power line fittings, the ministry said.
