Russian users unable to access App Store without VPN

MOSCOW. Jan 25 (Interfax) - Russian users of App Store have encountered a failure in the operation of the Apple application store.

Whenever an attempt is made to open the application store from iPhone, there is a notice that reads, "App Store connection failure," an Interfax correspondent reported after checking for himself. The store can be accessed via VPN.

Still, some Russian users have been able to access App Store without VPN.

Interfax has made an enquiry with the Apple press service.
