Zelensky calls on U.S businesses to start working in Ukraine

MOSCOW. Jan 24 (Interfax) - Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky called on U.S. businesses to cooperate in rebuilding Ukraine during his address by video link at a meeting of the U.S. National Association of State Chambers.

Hopefully, Ukraine and its partners will be able to start the difficult work of rebuilding the country - "our cities, our economy, our infrastructure", Zelensky said.

"It will be the largest economic project of our time in Europe," he said.

"It is already obvious that American business can become the locomotive that will once again push forward global economic growth," he said.

Ukraine has attracted the attention of international financial and investment giants such as BlackRock, J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs and is cooperating with them, Zelensky said.

"Besides, brands such as Starlink and Westinghouse have already become part of our path. There can be thousands of such examples! And everyone can become a major business by working with Ukraine. I invite them to start working with us already now," he said.
