Russia interested in return of IT specialists, proper conditions need to be created - Peskov

MOSCOW. Jan 24 (Interfax) - The return of IT specialists to Russia would require the creation of proper conditions, Russia is interested in a skilled labor force, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

"We have already said that, obviously, these skilled personnel are of great interest to the country. Of course, we are interested in creating proper conditions for their return," Peskov told reporters on Tuesday.

He thus commented on a statement by businessman Vladimir Potanin, who said that no restrictions should be imposed, at least for a long period of time, on IT specialists that left Russia.

"Of course, it would be necessary to work with them so that they continue their activity for the benefit of Russian companies and, ultimately, for the benefit of the Russian state. There is no doubt these are rare, valuable personnel," Peskov said.
