Putin, Tokayev discuss cooperation in energy, other fields
MOSCOW. Jan 20 (Interfax) - Russian President Vladimir Putin and his Kazakh counterpart Kassym-Jomart Tokayev have discussed bilateral cooperation in energy and other fields by phone, the Kremlin press service said.
"In the course of a telephone call, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev addressed topical aspects of the development of the Russian-Kazakh strategic partnership and alliance. In particular, they touched upon further interaction in the energy field," it said.
