Cosmonaut Fedyayev to travel to ISS by Crew Dragon spaceship no earlier than Feb 26 - Roscosmos

MOSCOW. Jan 19 (Interfax) - The SpaceX Crew Dragon 6 spaceship with Russian cosmonaut Andrei Fedyayev onboard will fly to the International Space Station (ISS) no earlier than February 26, Roscosmos said on Thursday.

"According to NASA, Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrei Fedyayev will travel to the International Space Station by the U.S. Crew Dragon manned spaceship as a member of Crew 6 under the cross-flight program no earlier than February 26, 2023," it said.

Besides Fedyayev, the sixth long-term expedition to arrive at the ISS by Crew Dragon will consist of NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg and UAE astronaut Sultan Al Neyadi.

NASA said earlier that Crew Dragon 6 would leave for the ISS on February 15.

A Falcon 6 launch vehicle coupled with the spaceship will blast off from Area 39A at the Kennedy Space Center in Florida. The mission will last for six months.
