German dairy concern Ehrmann replaces management of its Russian subsidiaries

MOSCOW. Jan 18 (Interfax) - German dairy concern Ehrmann has changed the management of its Russian subsidiaries, namely, Ehrmann LLC and Campina LLC.

According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, Johannes Schonhuber has been the CEO of the companies since mid-January. He is also the general director of Zentis Russland, a subsidiary of Germany's Zentis, which produces canned fruit, vegetables and nuts.

Schonhuber succeeded James Dwyer, who has headed Ehrmann LLC since March 2012 and Campina LLC since November 2021, when Ehrmann became the owner of the Russian business known as FrieslandCampina. Dwyer has been working in Russia for more than 30 years. In the dairy sector, in particular, between 2001 and 2005, he was Danone's general director for the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).

According to the SPARK-Interfax analytical system, Ehrmann's revenue in 2021 rose to 14.7 billion rubles from 13.3 billion rubles in 2020, while the net profit dropped to 499.2 million rubles from 647.3 million rubles, respectively. In 2021, Campina increased its revenue to 10.9 billion rubles from 10.2 billion rubles the previous year and posted a net profit of nearly 320 million rubles. The company had a net loss of 126.4 million rubles in 2020.

Ehrmann has been operating on the Russian dairy market since 1994.
